UPS REVENUES, NET INCOME RISE

United Parcel Service of Atlanta, operating a sorting hub in Roanoke, reported net income of $943.3 million, or $1.63 per share, on revenues of $19.6 billion in 1994, compared with year-earlier $809.6 million, or $1.40 per share, on revenues of $17.8 billion.

Closely held UPS does not issue regular earnings reports, but limited figures were included in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
