WOODBURY, N.Y. - The chief executive officer of a large temporary-help company was dismissed Tuesday after an unspecified number of employees accused him of sexual harassment.
The executive, Joel B. Miller, 49, denied any wrongdoing.
Career Horizons Inc. wouldn't say what Miller was alleged to have done. Mark Semer of Kekst and Co., a New York City-based public relations company, said accusations first were made against Miller about two months ago in an unsigned letter sent to the board of directors. The board hired an outside consultant to investigate, Semer said.
Career Horizons has 410 offices in 42 states.
