MILL MOUNTAIN'S ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR WILL LEAVE IN JULY

Jere Lee Hodgin, executive and artistic director of Mill Mountain Theatre, has announced that Ernie Zulia, associate director of Mill Mountain Theatre for the past seven years, is leaving the organization July 16.

Zulia will direct regional productions of ``All I Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten,'' his adaptation of Robert Fulghum's book, which premiered at Mill Mountain Theatre.

In addition, Zulia intends to pursue several other directing projects. He will continue to use Roanoke as his base of operations.

Zulia will direct Mill Mountain Theatre's upcoming production of ``The King and I'' and has expressed interest in returning to direct other shows on a free-lance basis.

During his tenure at Mill Mountain Theatre, Zulia directed such popular plays as ``42nd Street,'' ``Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'' and ``To Kill A Mockingbird.''
