Because of a reporter's error, the total 1993-94 salary and benefits package for Fred Roessel, the executive director of Blue Ridge Community Services, was incorrect in a story Wednesday. The correct figure is $104,776. In addition, only six of the 40 executive directors of community services boards had compensation packages for fiscal 1993-94 that exceeded $100,000. The wrong figure was incorrectly attributed to Ken Stroupe, Gov. George Allen's press secretary.
