Seven bankruptcies with business affiliations have been filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Western Virginia at Roanoke. Four are personal bankruptcies that the court listed as businesses because they have commercial connections and could be of interest to creditors and customers.
Sun-Tex Transportation Services Inc., a Salem trucking company, filed for liquidation. President Al Salem listed no assets and liabilities of $114,509.
New River Camping Center Inc. of Radford filed for liquidation, estimating assets at less than $50,000 and liabilities at more than $100,000.
James Emmett Thomas and Holly Hawthorne Thomas of Meadowview, who do business as Brushworks Decorative Painting, sought liquidation, listing assets at $2,760 and liabilities at $41,955.
Jeffrey Scott Clayburne and Lori Shelton Clayburne of Kingsport, Tenn., formerly of Richlands, asked for liquidation, with assets of $217,700 and liabilities of $297,282. They have an interest in Brett Enterprises, a coal mining company.
Gary C. Jobin, a physician from Abingdon, filed for liquidation, listing assets of $195,280 and liabilities of $776,457.
Daniel Glendon Browne of Roanoke, who previously did business as Carpet Max, filed for a wage-earner plan for repayment of debts, listing assets of $1,600 and debts of $17,339.
Opal N. Roberts of Roanoke, who operates a telephone answering service, filed for liquidation, with assets of $14,800 and liabilities of $47,683.

Malco of Southwest Virginia, headed by Frank R. Dombroski of Vinton, has become a distributor for Malco Products Inc., a Barberton, Ohio, maker of additives, reconditioning products and shop-use maintenance products for autos and trucks.
Copy Cat Printing has consolidated its shop at WIlliamson and Liberty roads with the one at 2406 Franklin Road, Roanoke. The lobby of the Williamson Road shop will stay open until May 1 for small jobs.
