A BIG THANKS

``Casual Fridays'' was shot at Ferguson, Andrews & Associates in the Liberty Trust Building on Jefferson Street in downtown Roanoke, and at Con-feddy's Restaurant & Bar (photo at right), 32 Market Square, downtown Roanoke. Thanks to owners Ann Akers, Donnie Akers and Mike Wood.

Our models:

Max Matthews, 39, is a technical writer/editor and German translator. His interests include historic preservation in Roanoke's Old Southwest neighborhood, language, literature and his family. He and his wife, Elena, have a 1-year-old daughter, Francesca.

Matt Owens, 26, a computer science major at Virginia Western Community College. He plays bass for OX3, an alternative and hard-rock band. He and his wife, Lee, have an eight-month-old daughter, Victoria.

John Sexton, 31, is the owner/operator of Sexton Landscaping, and he also models for local and regional businesses. A Roanoke native, he enjoys golf, skiing and camping.

John Yokum, 21, is from Philadelphia. He is a junior business major at Roanoke College.
