Chris Dux, the hospital's chief executive officer, presented the check to Pulaski Mayor Andy Graham making the hospital the festival's major sponsor.
Festival activities will get underway on the evening of June 23 at Memorial Square Shopping Center, and move downtown June 24. Performers this year will include the Bellamy Brothers, Shalako, Cimmaron and Country Current, the U.S. Navy Bluegrass Band.
Last year's festival drew about 14,000 people, and its planners this year hope to surpass that number.
Outdoor spaces for exhibitors selling antiques, art, crafts, jewelry and food are now being taken, and are $30 for 10-by-10-foot spaces, plus $20 per booth for electricity if needed. Further information is available from Joyce Loney at 674-1349 or 674-8508.
Admission will be free to the public.
