`OPERATION SPRUCE-UP' SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

"Operation Spruce-Up", a statewide program designed to preserve Virginia's natural, recreational, historic, and cultural resources, will be held Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16 at Claytor Lake State Park.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. each day and will include leaf raking, tree planting, painting, and a variety of other activities. Pre-registration is requested but not required. For more information call the park at 674-5492.
