COMMUNITY COLLEGE TUITION TO RISE NEXT TERM

Community college students in Virginia can expect tuition increases of $1.35 per credit hour, effective with the term that starts this summer.

Prices will go from $45.30 per credit hour to $46.65. Out-of-state tuition will rise from $149 per credit hour to $156.

The state Board for Community Colleges announced the change last month.
