CLEANUP WEEK FOR VA. ROADS

Beginning today, drivers should be on the lookout for roadside cleanup crews taking part in Virginia's Adopt-a-Highway program.

Thousands of volunteers will be tidying up Virginia roadsides in preparation for Historic Garden Week, April 22-29.

The Adopt-a-HIghway program is open to anyone, including families, civic groups and businesses. The Virginia Department of Transportation supplies highway signs, orange vests and trash bags.
