TELECONFERENCE ON OBESITY

The county's extension office will be a down-link site for a satellite teleconference on Current Issues in Nutrition, Thursday, April 20.

The conference will talk about genetic factors in obesity, physical health consequences of obesity and weight loss, cultural psychological considerations of obesity and nutritional implications of fat replacers.

Continuing education units are available for certified home economists and dietitians. Medical workers also are welcome.
