ASSESSMENTS FOR TROUBLED CHILDREN OFFERED AT TECH

Parents of children with behavior problems can receive a free assessment of those problems and their family environment by participating in a study at Virginia Tech's Psychological Services Center.

The study, by graduate student Katie Ingman and Professor Thomas Ollendick, examines family environment and behavior problems in children between the ages of 7 and 12. It will look at anxiety, depression, withdrawal, hyperactivity, aggression and oppositional, defiant and conduct-related problems. Only one child and the primary care-giving parent are needed for the study.

The study is on-going and will continue for several months. For more information, call Ingman at 231-6914.
