RSVP WOULD LIKE YOUR JUNK, YOUR FLOTSAM, YOUR JETSAM ...

The Montgomery County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program wants your old stuff, the flotsam and jetsam of your attic, the rejects of your teeming basement or garage.

"We need your junk!" RSVP's Jo Lambert pleaded this week.

The annual RSVP YARD SALE is Friday, 8 a.m., at the former Angle's lot, downtown Christiansburg. RSVP will take furniture, pots and pans, appliances, jewelry, toys, clean clothing and other donations. Volunteers will even come over and pick it up. Call RSVP, 382-5775, or leave items at the RSVP office in the first floor of the Montgomery County Courthouse Annex, weekdays, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Proceeds help repair the air conditioner on the volunteers' van and cover newsletter mailing costs.
