THE RED CROSS RESPONDS

In response to the anticipated need for blood following the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City, the Appalachian Regional Blood Center of the American Red Cross will increase donor hours. The donor sites and hours are as follows.

Today

Blacksburg Donor Center: 12 noon to 6 p.m.

Roanoke Donor Center: Open for previously scheduled procedures only.

Friday

Roanoke Donor Center: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Saturday

Roanoke Donor Center: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition, the following mobile sites will be available.

Today

Martinsville: Masonic Lodge, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday

Floyd: Bank of Floyd, 12 noon to 6 p.m.

Pocohontas: Pocohontas High School, 12 noon to 6 p.m.
