Chadwick Deangelous Jones, 20, of Route 2, Dublin, could face additional charges, said Sheriff's Investigator Brian Wade.
Wade said the 18-year-old woman told authorities she was threatened, ordered to disrobe and tied up with a dog chain at her ex-boyfriend's home Friday night. She later was untied and taken to a Dublin motel, where the rape allegedly occurred, he said.
The woman convinced the man to free her and reported the incident to police, Wade said.
When police went to the man's home Saturday, they found the suspect barricaded inside with two young teen-agers who had been tied, Wade said.
The youths were unharmed, but Wade said the man came out holding a knife that had been used to slash his neck. When the man dropped the knife, he was handcuffed, given medical treatment and taken to a hospital.
