If love could have saved you,

You would not have died.

If tears could bring you back,

You would be by our side.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

God took our PePaw, Papaw,

Daddy, Husband and broke the

family chain,

But somewhere in a better land,

Our chain will link again.
