College offers high school diploma

DUBLIN - Residents of Giles, Floyd and Pulaski counties who are older than 25 and who do not have a high school diploma can earn that diploma through a program offered by New River Community College.

The program asks diploma seekers to demonstrate skills in 65 areas, including consumer awareness, personal and family health, and occupational preparedness.

Each candidate must also have a more advanced individual competency, such as job or home management expertise.
