2 STABBED IN DISPUTE IN OLD SOUTHWEST ALLEY

Two men were taken to the hospital and another was taken to jail Monday night after a stabbing incident in Old Southwest Roanoke.

Sgt. W.G. Lucas of the Roanoke police said the two men were stabbed just after 9 p.m. during an altercation in the alley south of the 300 block of Washington Avenue. He said it appeared there was a fight related to a previous robbery.

One man, whose name was not available, was taken into custody at the scene, Lucas said. The names and conditions of the victims were not available.
