EXPERT WILL GIVE GARDENING TIPS

Southern Living garden specialist Jim Bennett will share his tricks of the trade Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Lowe's Lawn and Garden Center, 5040 Rutgers St. N.W., Roanoke.

Bennett, who hosted the nationally syndicated television program, ``Weekend Gardener,'' will be available for questions after each presentation.

``Spring Lawn Care Made Easy'' will begin at 10 a.m., followed by ``Landscaping With Trees and Shrubs'' at noon. ``Gardening With Annuals and Perennials'' will start at 2 p.m. and ``Growing Beautiful Roses'' at 4 p.m.

Admission is free.
