The Wolfpack battled rainy conditions to shoot an even-par 288 and finish with an 8-over-par 872 total and a 10-stroke victory over the Hokies. Virginia finished third, at 885.
UNC Greensboro senior John McCann shot an even-par 72 to claim medalist honors. McCann shot a course-record 66 on Saturday and finished 5-under at 211. Liberty's Todd Setsma finished four shots back and N.C. State's Todd Ormsby (217) was third.
Virginia Tech's Curtis Deal finished at 218 and tied for fourth overall with N.C. State's Press McPhaul. The Hokies' Sean Farrell tied for ninth, at 220, with six other players, including Tech's Brian Sharp and Virginia's Simon Cooke and Lewis Chitengwa.

Bo Durkac led off the game with a home run and Jon Hand went the distance to pick up the victory as Virginia Tech defeated host Louisville 6-2 in a Metro Conference baseball game.
The Hokies (27-22 overall, 8-7 Metro) led 4-0 before Louisville's Kevin Kaczmarek hit a two-run homer in the third inning. Tech sealed the victory with RBI singles by Mike Terhune and former William Byrd High School star Josh Herman, each of whom went 2-for-4, in the fourth inning.
Hand (2-3), a freshman right-hander, held the Cardinals (15-36, 4-11) to eight hits - only two in the last five innings - while striking out eight and walking three.
Gary Dalton won the 100-lap Kool 100 Radio Enduro race by two laps Saturday night at New River Valley Speedway. It was Dalton's second enduro victory at the Radford track.
Randall Gibson finished second, and Frankie Kelly third.
Christiansburg's Kevin Snyder, who was admitted to Radford Memorial Hospital after an accident in the Mini Stock race, suffered a fractured patella (kneecap), a hospital spokesman said. There was no word on when Snyder would be released. Conway Combs, who also was also taken to the hospital, was treated and released.
The Roanoke Hawks advanced to national competition by finishing second in the boys' 15-and-under AAU state basketball tournament in Charlottesville.
Marcus Cunningham scored 25 points to lead Richmond Metro Gold to a 77-72 victory over the Hawks in the title game, but both teams advance to the national tournament July 1-8 in Kingsport, Tenn. Devon Battle led Roanoke with 18 points.
