HONOR STUDENTS TO BE RECOGNIZED

Honor students from Pulaski County High School will be honored by Pulaski Town Council at its 4 p.m. meeting today.

The governing body will present resolutions to the students commending them for their work.

Council will also present a resolution of appreciation to Anita Taylor, assistant finance director, for her work in heading the town finance department as acting director from last September through April when it was without a director.

Town Manager Tom Combiths will present a recommended schedule to council for sessions to review the proposed 1995-96 budget.

If council approves the schedule, the first session will follow today's council meeting and cover the sewer fund and sewer capital improvement program.

Other sessions would be from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on the water fund and capital improvement program; from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday on the first half of the general fund, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday on the rest of the general fund and the general capital improvement fund.

A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for council's 7 p.m. May 16 meeting.
