GLENVAR - The Norfolk Southern railroad crossing at Virginia 612 off Route 460 will be closed for repairs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday.

NRCC commencement

DUBLIN - Dana B. Hamel, who directed the formation of Virginia's community college system and was its first chancellor, will be commencement speaker at New River Community College on Friday.

The college will award 380 degrees and certificates during the 6:30 p.m. ceremony on the lawn in front of Godbey Hall. For more information, call 674-3619.
