4-BALL WINNERS SET RECORD

Keith Decker of Martinsville and David Partridge of Richmond didn't let up Sunday, finishing with a tournament-record 134 to win the Water's Edge Four-Ball Invitational golf tournament at Water's Edge Country Club.

J.W. Entsminger and David Brogan of Lexington finished one stroke back after shooting a 6-under-par 66 on Sunday to match the tournament record Decker and Partridge set Saturday. Decker and Partridge beat the tournament records of 67 and 135 set two years ago by Tom McKnight of Galax and Bill Sibbick of Martinsville.

The teams of Bob Rotella and Michael Henderson of Charlottesville and Denton Willard of Salem and Rodney Naff of Roanoke shared third, with 137 totals. Jake Allison and Mark Teachey of Roanoke tied Blandin Wright and Larry Hund of Charlottesville for fifth place.

Jim Kite and Bob Moyers shot 74-67-141 to win the seniors division by five strokes.
