``Hand-In-Hand For Tomorrow,'' the Eighth Annual Literacy Fair of Virginia, will be held May 19 from 9 a.m-3:30 p.m. at Central Virginia Community College's Amherst Building in Lynchburg.

Dr. William Bosher, state superintendent for public education, is the keynote speaker. Dr. Richard Cooper, director of the Alternative Learning Center of Bryn Mawr, Pa., will hold in-depth sessions on teaching the learning disabled.

Other sessions include ``The Reading/Writing Connection,'' ``Open Sesame: The Magic of Reading Aloud,'' and ``Stories to Tell,'' in which three students describe learning to read.

The fair is open to students, tutors, instructors, administrators and businesses. The registration fee is $5; students are admitted free.

Registration forms are available from Project Literacy, Danville; Pittsylvania Literacy Program, Chatham; and Virginia Literacy Fair, P.O. Box 5264, Martinsville, Va. 24412.
