BITTSY HALL's piano students presented their spring recital at South Roanoke Methodist Church. Performers included: Elizabeth Austin, Elizabeth Bradshaw, Holland Budd, John Budd, Billy Butler, Mary Dodson, Emily Edwards-Frabell, Kate Gilchrist, Gray Huffman, Whitney Norbo, Catherine Rhodes, Katie Rude, Jan Steffe, Jane Stinson, Suzy Stinson, Emily Wallace and Claire Willis.

SUZANNE H. LIPES of Roanoke was one of seven vice president generals elected during the 104th Continental Congress of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington, D.C.

Lipes is a member of the Roanoke Valley chapter, where she's been regent and held other offices. She also has served the Virginia State Society as state regent, chaplain, registrar and a district director.

CAROL GUILLIAMS has been elected president of the Rokeva Woman's Club for the 1995-96 club year.

Others elected to office were: Doris Sartelle, first vice president; Dorothy Edwards, second vice president; Anne Scott, recording secretary; Hazel Eakin, corresponding secretary; and Audrey Lindsey, treasurer; Corinne Murray, parliamentarian; and Doris Peters as adviser.

Rokeva also recently won district awards - three firsts in art, international affairs and leadership. They brought home five second places for art, home life, international affairs and the VFCW State Project.
