Radford City Attorney John Spiers said that his mentioning publicly naming a manufacturer locating in the Radford Industrial Park was not inadvertent, as a story the May 10 Current might have suggested. Spiers said the industry's name already was a matter of public record. "Radford is justifiably proud of its record of conducting the public's business in public, and any effort to compromise that record is unacceptable," Spiers said.
