Clarification

Singer Furniture Acquisition Co., a Florida company which formerly owned Singer Furniture Co., has filed for bankruptcy protection during reorganization. It is no longer affiliated with Singer Furniture Co. and the bankruptcy does not affect the furniture manufacturer. The current relationship of the companies was unclear in a story on Wednesday's Business page.
