HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP

Several fund-raisers are in the works to help raise $4,500 for the children and their chaperones to travel to Knoxville, Tenn.

The four-day trip will include dorm lodging and meals for six team members and six chaperones, as well as a rental truck and traveling costs.

Sub Station and Baskin Robbins in Blacksburg will donate portions of their sales from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 30.

Also the OM members are selling raffle tickets to raise money. Tickets are $25 each. Prizes include a night for two with breakfast at the Hotel Roanoke, swim passes to the Blacksburg Aquatic Center, tickets to five Virginia Tech football games, dinner for two at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar, and art supplies at Mish Mish.
