FOOD FAIR FOCUSES ON SCHOOL LUNCHES
FREE LUNCH is for real. The Montgomery County School Nutrition Programs
wants to give lunches away. It invites its employees, students and their
parents on Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. to Blacksburg High School to sample
and help select from among more than 50 foods proposed for inclusion in
Montgomery County School cafeteria menus. Besides assorted free samples,
information on the foods will be given out and there will be door prizes.
Last year's debut ``We Serve Smiles'' food fair drew about 500 people, with
pizza reigning as young diners' undisputed favorite dish. For additional
information, call 382-5156.
