Robb said in a news release that he agreed with Clinton's assertions that the congressional cuts to education, job training and law enforcement programs are too deep, while pork-barrel spending programs are protected.
Robb supported the cuts to the current federal budget when the bill came before the full Senate. He said he does not support it now because of changes made to the bill by a House-Senate conference committee.
