CALDWELL, Donna Furrow, 36, of Blue Ridge, died Friday, May 19, 1995, in a local hospital. Surviving are her husband, Dale Caldwell; a son, Shannon Williams; her parents, Robert and Frances Furrow, Roanoke; brothers and sisters, Ricky Furrow, Roanoke, Tina Stevens, Burlington, N.C., Bobby Furrow, Roanoke, Nicole Vest, Vinton; two nieces; six nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 1995, with the Rev. C. Berkley Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Glade Creek Cemetery, Botetourt Co. CHANDLER, Bradford Jr., 77, of Lexington, died Wednesday, May 17, 1995, in the Danbury Hospital, Danbury, Conn. He was born in Kingston, Mass. on April 30, 1918, a son of the late Bradford Chandler and Vivienne (Cole) Chandler. Mr. Chandler was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He retired as senior manufacturing engineer from Perkin-Elmer, Norwalk, Conn. He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Lexington. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean (Culley) Chandler; three sons, Captain Bradford Chandler III, U.S.A.F., Los Angeles, Calif., Ronald Bradford Chandler, Lake Oswego, Oregon, Fred E. Chandler , Upper Marlboro, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. Janet Chandler Vita, WIlton, Conn., Miss Karen Chandler, Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Marlene Chandler Bucci, Danbury, Conn., and Ms. Judie Pasquini, Silver Hill, Md.; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 22, in the Williams Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Williams C. Crites officiating. Interment, with military honors will follow in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060. DAVIS, Woodrow W., (``Dink""), of 124 Astor Court, Danville, died Friday, May 19, 1995 in Danville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Davis was born November 29, 1917 in Dan ville, the son of the late Thomas E. Davis Sr. and Sarah Donnelly Davis. He married Hazel Harris Davis March 12, 1942. Mr. Davis served in the US Army in World War II as Master Sargeant and was the Sargeant Major of the Hampton Roads Port of Embarkation. He served in the Pacific Theatre as Sargeant Major of the Port of Manila in the Philippines and received the Pacific Theatre Campaign with three Bronze Stars and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with a Bronze Star and other medals. Mr. Davis was associated with the A & P Tea Co., W. L. Miller Associates, Old Dutch Market and C & B Lift Truck at Goodyear Tire and Rubber. He was a member of Ramah Lodge #70 AF & AM, Pequosin Tribe Redman #124 and American Legion Post 325. Mr. Davis was a member of Moffett Memorial Baptist Church. He had a life membership in the Junior Chamber of Commerce and was a former member of Tuscarora Country Club. Besides his wife of the residence, he is survived by one son, Richard T. Davis of Danville; a daughter, Dawn Davis Hearp of Roanoke, Va.; a grandson, Todd F. Hearp; and a granddaughter, Shelley Hearp, both of Roanoke; a brother, Charles E. Davis, Brunswick, Ga.; a son-in-law, Eddie F. Hearp, Roanoke and a daughter-in-law, Shelby H. Davis, Danville. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 21, 1995 at 2 p.m. at Highland Burial Park. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Lee Ellison. Military graveside honors will be given by the Honor Guard of American Legion Post No. 325. The family will receive friends at the home. EANES, Cabell Edward, 45, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Floyd Co., died Sunday, May 14, 1995. Graveside service 10:30 a.m. Monday, Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Oakey's North Chapel.

FALLS, Malcolm R. Sr., 64, of West Palm Beach, Fla., died Thursday, May 18, 1995. A native of Virginia, he had served in the U.S. Army Occupation Force's in Europe and Korean War, and was a life member of V.F.W. Post 4360 Palm Springs. Survivors include his wife, Rachel; son, Malcolm Randy Falls (Connie) of Lake Worth, Fla.; daughters, Debbie Wheeler of Natural Bridge Station, Va., Cheryl Schmitt (Jack) of Lake Worth; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Preston Falls of Baltimore, Md., and Edward Falls of Hanover, Md.; three sisters, Marie Carter of Windsor, Va., Margaret Dunkerly of Hanover, Md. and Pearl Fertitta of Loxahatchee, Fla.; special friends, Gary and Winnie, Allen and Jean, and Ray and Melva. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, at E. Earl Smith & Son Memory Garde ns Chapel with interment in Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations in Mr. Fall's memory be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County or the American Cancer Society.

HALE, Opal Virginia, 58, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, May 18, 1995. Survivors include her husband, George S. Hale Jr.; one son, George K. Hale; two daughters, Kenana W. Hale and Vicky M. Definbaugh, all of Roanoke; one stepson, Kenneth L. Hale, Louisville, Kent.; two stepdaughters, Gaynail Saunders, Roanoke, and Kimberly L. Hale, Louisville, Kent.; one sister, Lorraine McFallen, Bedford; two grandchildren, Kamyron Hale-Meeks and Eric Casey, both of Roanoke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Robert Amick, and the Roanoke Memorial Hospice Staff. Funeral services will be Monday 2 p.m. at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Chapel. Dr. J. JORDAN, James Radford Jr., 72, of Bedford, died Thursday, May 18, 1995 in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Campbell County on January 9, 1923, a son of the late James Radford Jordan Sr. and Callie Beatrice Yates Jordan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Jordan, and a sister, Carolyn Harris. He was a retired manager with Leggett's Department Store, with 48 years of service, and was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church. He served a tour of duty in Italy with the 15th Air Corp of the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Jordan also was a member of the Lynchburg Elks Lodge #321, V.F.W. Post #2157, Liberty Masonic Lodge #95 and Board-Canady Post of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Jordan; a son and daughter-in-law, Marc R. and Susan Jordan, Thurmont, Md.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra J. and Stacey Cooper, Wirtz; a brother, Preston Jordan, Madison Heights; four sisters, Nancy Rice, Betty Pendry and Louise Daniel, all of Lynchburg, Lurlee Slate, Naruna; also four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 20, 1995 at 3 p.m. at Bedford Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Francis B. Avery Jr. and the Rev. J. Harris Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post #16. The family suggests those wishing to make memorials consider Bedford Presbyterian Church. KAYNOR, Zacaria Caleb, of Hampstead, N.C., died Thursday, May 18,1995. He was born in the Susquehanna Mountains on March 4, 1977, the son of Karen Olivia Marshburn and Mark Davis Kaynor. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brother, Joseph Winter Kaynor; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held 2 pm. LINKOUS, Della Mae, 92, of Christiansburg, died Friday, May 19, 1995, in the Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was the widow of Eston Guy Linkous and is survived by three sons, Harold W. Linkous, Mosby Linkous, both of Christiansburg, Junior E. Linkous, Dublin; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Claude Dove and the Rev. Wallace Yopp with burial in the Belmont Cemetery. McCORMICK, Brown Dixon, 83, of Buena Vista, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at his home. He was born in Rockbridge County October 7, 1911 a son of the late Charles Brown McCormick and Beulah Dixon McCormick. He was a member of the Buena Vista Presbyterian Church. He was retired from Reeves Brothers where he had worked for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Ramsey McCormick of Buena Vista; stepchildren, Wayne Ramsey of Buena Vista, Barbara Humphreys of Buena Vista, Brenda Ramsey of Atlanta, Ga., Bobby Ramsey of Vesuvius; two sisters, Mamie McCormick Lotts and Stella McCormick Patterson both Lexington; and nine stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Truax and Dr. Paul Fink officiating. McFARLAND, Arnold M., 52, of Roanoke, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, in a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Elaine McFarland; two daughters, Teri Ramsuer, Roanoke and Linda McFarland, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Timothy Ramsuer Jr. and Robin Ramsuer; a sister, Marie Eaton, Gibsonville, N.C. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, with the Rev. Robert Lanie officiating. METZ, Lucile Heinz, of Blacksburg, formerly of Charleston, S.C., died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at MUSC Hospital. She was born February 10, 1910 at Charleston, S.C., a daughter of Charles H. L. Heinz and Wilhelmina Peters Heinz and the widow of George Albert Metz. She graduated from Winthrop College. Survivors include her four sons, Gerald A. Metz, M.D. of Bangor, Maine, David C. Metz of East Greenbrush, N.Y., John R. Metz of Tempe, Arizona, and Paul Metz of Blacksburg; nine grandchildren; and one great-granchild. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, May 20, in J. Henry Stuhr's Downtown Chapel, Charleston, S.C. Memorials may be made to the ``Achievement Center.""

YOPP, Arlene Jones, 69, of Christiansburg, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at her home. She is survived by her husband, Milton Lee Yopp Sr.; her sons and daughters-in-law, Milton and Sherry Yopp, Langley AFB, Hampton, Danny and Dru Yopp, Christiansburg, Ronnie Yopp, Round Hill; a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Monte Smith, Christiansburg; two grandchildren, Nicholas Yopp and Elaine Smith; special friends, Clyde Martin and Brenda Simmons.
