ALFRED HITCHCOCK HITS STILL PACK THRILLS

Fourteen hit movies by Alfred Hitchcock, the master of suspense whose trademark stylish thrillers still influence filmmaking, are being released Tuesday by MCA Universal Home Video.

``The Alfred Hitchcock Collection'' encompasses a wide swath of Hitchcock's work. Director John Frankenheimer once said, ``Any American director who says he hasn't been influenced by Hitchcock is out of his mind.''

Titles ($14.98 each) in the collection:

``Rear Window'' (1954), with James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Thelma Ritter, Wendell Corey and Raymond Burr.

``The Birds'' (1963), Tippi Hedren, Jessica Tandy, Rod Taylor, Suzanne Pleshette.
