Bond tribute
The Roanoke Symphony Orchestra will present ``Bravo Victoria,'' a farewell tribute to the orchestra's Music Director and Conductor Victoria Bond, on June 2 at Roanoke College's Olin Hall.
The gala celebration includes a jazz benefit concert featuring the Marian McPartland Trio beginning at 8 p.m.
Audience members will have an opportunity to say farewell to Bond and to meet jazz pianist McPartland at a post-concert dessert reception.
Tickets for the concert and reception are available by making a $25 donation to the orchestra and must be reserved in advance. Seats for the jazz concert are by general admission. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
