BRAMLETT, Lois Christine, 82, of Montvale, passed away Friday, May 19, 1995 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bedford County on July 5, 1912, a daughter of the late Oscar Bowles and Luanna Boothe Bowles. Her husband was the late Russell W. Bramlett. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margie Fullen and a brother George Bowles. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by ten daughters, Shirley Bramlett, Lynchburg, Claudine Bramlett, Evelyn Davenport and Lucy Fowler, all of Bedford, Nell Lambert and Bonnie Silcott, Salem, Myrtle Bramlett, Roanoke, Wilma Ferguson, Blue Ridge, Doris Tyler and Peggy Orr, Troutville; two sons, Carlton Bramlett, Roanoke and Ernest Bramlett, Montvale; a brother, William S. Bo wles, Roanoke; four sisters, Pearl Muse and Lena Muse, Roanoke, Bernice Shaver, Vinton and Gladys Bowles, Asheville, N.C.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 22, 1995 at 2 p.m. from Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by the Rev. Johnny Basham with interment in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a graduate of Randolph Henry High School and Virginia Military Institute (Class of 1950 - B); a past President of United Way of Roanoke Valley; past President of the Shenandoah Club and the Roanoke Country Club; Principle Owner of the Roanoke Valley Rebels and past Commissioner of the Southern Hockey League; an avid supporter of Junior Golf and the Scott Robertson Memorial Golf Tournament; and co-founder/President of Progressive Products Corporation. Surviving are his wife, Sa ndra Snead Hawthorne; a son and daughter-in-law, Paxton C. and Joyce Hawthorne, Roanoke; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilee Hawthorne and John Creekmore, Roanoke, Karen Hawthorne and William K. LAMBDON, Mildred Louise, 72, of 2931 Leslie Lane in Roanoke, formerly of Princeton, W.Va., died Friday, May 19, 1995 at the Community Hospital of Roanoke. Born in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late E. R. ``Jack"" and Julia Ada White Jackson. She had been a resident of Roanoke since 1963 after moving from Cleveland, Ohio. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Princeton, W.Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Lambdon II and one brother, Henry S. Jackson. Survivors include one son, Thomas H. Lambdon III; one daughter, Kathryn R. Lester both of Roanoke; one brother, Don Jackson of Princeton, W.Va.; one sister, Peggy B. Brown of Wilmington, Del.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Graveside rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the White Family Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. Gary Lyons of ficiating. PLASTERS, Samuel Ernest, 94, of Rt. 1 Patrick Springs died Friday, May 19, 1995 in the Franklin Memorial Hospital, Rocky Mount. Born in Patrick County September 13, 1900, he was the son of the late Millard Filmore Plasters and the late Louetta Lawless Plasters. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mae Howell Plasters in 1987 and two sons, Albert and Howard Plasters. He was a member of the Goodwill Baptist Church, Rt. 1, Patrick Springs. He is survived by six sons, Sam PLasters Jr., of Winchester, Melvin R. Plasters of Ridgeway, McCoy Plasters of Bassett, James B. Plasters of Stuart, Ralph H. Plasters and Randolph T. Plasters both of Patrick Springs; six daughters, Mrs. Wesley (Lucille) Hopkins of Woolwine, Mrs. Muriel P. Hughes of Stuart, Helen Plasters of Bassett, Mrs. Harold (Sadie) Spencer of Fieldale, Mrs. James (Betty Jean) Spence of Patrick Springs and Mrs. Melvin (Dee) DeHart of Woolwine; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren also survive. UMBERGER, Richard V., (``Scratch""), 65, of Wytheville, died Saturday, May 20, 1995 in the Radford Community Hospital following a long illness. He was born in Wythe County, the son of the late Raymond V. ``Skinny"" and Ethel Waddell Umberger. He was a retired state employee and a member of the VGEA, a member of the First Christian Church, where he served as a Trustee, a member of the Moose Lodge #394 and was made an honorary member of the Wytheville Volunteer Fire Department, after serving 16 years. He was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Irene Umberger. He is survived by his wife, Martha Fry Umberger; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Evelyn J. Umberger, Wytheville, Mary Frances and Tho mas D. Irvin, Englewood, Colorado. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 1995 at 11 a.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel, with the Rev.
