WASENA FORUM TO DISCUSS CRIME

The Wasena Neighborhood Forum is inviting all Roanoke neighborhoods to a citywide crime prevention meeting Thursday night at 7 at Ghent Church of the Brethren, 1511 Maiden Lane S.W.

The topic of the meeting is "What can neighborhood groups or citizens do to help prosecutors get a successful prosecution?'' Representatives from the Roanoke Police Department, the city prosecutor's office and the court system have been invited to speak.

Forum President Terri Beck said neighborhood groups in Lincoln Terrace, Melrose/Rugby, Raleigh Court and Old Southwest are among the organizations expected to send members.
