STEVE AND DAVE ... WHO?

In our InfoLine Poll, there were quite a few. Goofballs, that is.

Like the man who called and voted comedian Jon Lovitz the sexiest woman alive. Four times.

Then there was the heavy breather who voted for Bob Vila. And the guy who voted for Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's.

But what about all those people who voted for Steve and Dave? Including Steve and Dave themselves.

Now we clearly stated that you had to cast a vote for someone of celebrity status. You know, someone we've all heard of. Big shots.

Steve and Dave - two local disk jockeys - seem to have quite a following.

But we're afraid we'll have to eliminate you both since everyone who called simply voted for ``Steve and Dave.''

We'll reconsider when ``Steve'' and ``Dave'' have reached that one-name celebrity status.

Like Madonna. Sting. Cher. Roseanne. Bono.

Moses.

Or even Garth.
