THEATER DIRECTOR'S PLAY WILL BE PUBLISHED

``Treasure Island,'' the Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre's children's play by R. Rex Stephenson, will be published this fall by I.E. Clark Publishers of Texas.

The show broke all BRDT attendance records for a children's show last summer.

It was produced in the fall in Salt Lake City and will premiere in a revised version in Texas this fall.

Stephenson is the artistic director of the theater and professor of theater at Ferrum College. He has published two other childrens shows, ``The Jack Tales,'' and ``The Liberated Cinderella.''
