Listeners of the rock music station - which changed to a harder rock format in March - heard all three sentiments this week. Over and over and over.
"There's been such a reaction to us goofing around," said operations manager Dean Tyler, "and that says to me the whole New River Valley needed to get woken up."
The station, which began the promotion with Thursday's morning traffic jam, played each song consecutively in two-hour shifts.
Between plays of Nat King Cole's crooning voice came a DJ reminiscent of an elevator music announcer: "WEEZ. We're the lighter, leaner, softer, easier, gentler kind of station."
Billy Ray Cyrus' "Achy Breaky Heart" was followed with the announcement of "Gator Country."
Tyler said the craziness should end Monday, when the station changes to a new format yet again. But he's not announcing what that format will be.
Meanwhile, the listeners are wondering.
Jonathon Schulz, of Blacksburg, left the following message on his answering machine Thursday:
"Will somebody please tell me just what the h-- is going on with Rock105?"
