COLEMAN, Raymond Roland, (``Mud Grip""), 67, of Martinsville, died Thursday, May 25, 1995. Funeral Saturday, 11 a.m., Vision Assembly of God, Collinsville. Arrangements by Tomlinson Funeral Home, Ridgeway.

CORMANY, Louise Hilton, 86, of Route 4, Wytheville, died Thursday, May 25, 1995. She was the widow of Earl K. ``Doc"" Cormany. She is survived by two daughters, Chloe Ann White, Richmond, Nelda Umberger, Daleville; one son, Derl R. Cormany, Wytheville; one sister, Mozelle Irvin, Wytheville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, in the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Peterson, with the interment to follow in the church cemetery. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

DOYLE, Rex William, 82, of Vinton, died Friday, May 26, 1995. He was member of Vinton Wesleyan Church and a retired plumber from Local 491. He was predeceased by his wife, Maud R. Doyle, and a son, Hubert R. Doyle. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis C. and Sharon Doyle, Chester; daughters and son-in-law, Charlene and Frank Wolfe, and Martha McGeorge; daughter-in-law, Billie Sue Doyle, all of Vinton; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Madden of Tennessee, Virginia Lankop of Indianna, Helen Sparks of Rose Hill, Va.; two brothers, Robert and Thomas Doyle, both of Rose Hill, Va. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 29, 1995, with the Rev. W. Albert Massey officiating. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

DUNCAN, Nellie Marie, 84, of Christiansburg, died Friday, May 26, 1995, in Radford Community Hospital. She was the widow of the late Ingle Walter Duncan and is survived by two daughters, Ruby Long, Belspring, Frances Semones, Pulaski; one son and daughter-in-law, George and Dorothy Duncan, Christiansburg; one brother, Edgar Carroll, Fairlawn; seven grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 28, at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Jerry Gibson and Pastor Albert Carroll Jr. with burial in Sunset Cemetery. HILL, Neta B. Moore, 69, of Hillsville, passed away Friday, May 26, 1995, at her home. Survivors include her husband, Joseph H. Hill, Hillsville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa Stoneman, Hillsville, Nancy and Roger Beasley, Hillsville; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Neil and Margaret Sowers, Roanoke, Steve and Susie Sowers, Hillsville, Junior and Katherine Sowers, Floyd, Jimmy Hill, Hillsville; stepson and daughter-in-law, Steve and Audrey Hill, Houston, Texas; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Roger Harris, Floyd; three brothers, Paulus Moore, J. D. Moore, Earl Moore, all of Roanoke; 15 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Skyview Baptist Church, Hillsville. HODGSON, Elizabeth B., 77, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 1995. She was born September 11, 1916. She is survived by her husband, Kyle Hodgson; three sisters, Judy Whifley, Washington, D.C., Lois Scury, Florida, Lila Gomez, Chesapeake; one brother, Henry King, Pawpaw, W.Va.; A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church, 712 Front Ave., Salem, Va., on Sunday, May 28, 1995, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Director of Christian Fund of First Christian Church.

IRBY, Madgy Victor, 81, of Christiansburg, died Thursday, May 25, 1995, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. JACKSON, Alma Williamson, 90, of Bedford, died Thursday, May 25, 1995, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. She was born January 11, 1905 in Bedford County a daughter of the late James Edward Williamson and Annie Laura Overacre Williamson. She was the widow of Coy Shields Jackson Sr., a member of Bedford Baptist Church and had taught in the Bedford public school system for over 20 years. She is survived by her son, C.S. Jackson Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Greensboro, N.C.; two granddaughters, Laurie J. Miller of Boone, N.C. and Julie J. Feeney of Woodbridge; two great-grandchildren, Richard S. Miller and Emily A. Miller; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 1995, at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. John I. Durham officiating. MARTIN, William J., 89, of Roanoke, formerly of Thaxton, died Friday morning, May 26, 1995, in a local hospital. Mr. Martin was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bedford. He was retired from Burlington Industries. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mattie S. Martin; son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Betty S. Martin, Thaxton; daughters and sons-in-law, Vilma M. and Wilburn B. Graves, Mechanicsville, Frances M. and Gilbert A. Wright, Lynchburg, Norma Jean and John Markey, Roanoke; brothers, Floyd Martin, High Point, N.C., Roy Martin, Carthage, N.C.; sister, Mrs. Flora Bell Carlton, Spartanburg, S.C.; five grandsons, two granddaughters and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Kathy Markey, David Markey and Lisa Wright. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 1995, at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel. T he Rev. PERRY, James Edward Jr., (``Little Man""), 35, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, May 21, 1995. Survivors include his mother, Mary V. Perry, Roanoke; one brother, Michael Perry Sr.; two sisters, Mrs. Angela (Richard) Simmons, Rosalind Perry, all of Roanoke; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Adams, Roanoke; five nephews, four nieces and a host of relatives and friends. RHYMER, Noah (``Dan""), 78, of 300 Summerwood Dr., Bristol, Tenn., died Thursday, May 25, 1995 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a life-long resident of Sullivan County. He was retired from the Department of Defense, a U. S. Army veteran and a member of the First Christian Church of Bristol, Va. He was survived by is wife, Mrs. Cleo G. Rhymer, Bristol, TN.; one son, Daniel I. Rhymer, Gatlingburg, TN.; two stepsons, Douglas Kessinger and wife, Sandra Conner, Radford, Va., Paul and Tonya Kessinger, Blacksburg, Va.; one stepdaughter, Linda and Doug Shelor, Bristol, Va.; one sister, Hattie Kincaid, Bristol, TN.; one granddaughter, Cathy Rhymer, Holland; one grandson, Paul Rhymer, Tacoma Park, MD.; four stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. VAUGHT, Arvin Roscoe, 62, of Waverly, died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at his residence. He was born in Goodwins Ferry, the son of the late James Denver and Elizabeth Workman Vaught. He was a signal maintainer for the Norfolk and Southern Railroad and retired with 33 years service. He was a member of the Hyles Baptist Church. Mr. Vaught is survived by his wife, Avis Kelly Vaught; two sons, Joel Roscoe Vaught, Eggleston, Paul Stuart Vaught, Merriville, Ind.; daughter, Susan Vaught Cooke, Dendron; stepdaughter, Kristina Riggan, Chester; brother, John T. Vaught, Collinsville; three sisters, Ethel Bishop, Jean Mills, both of Eggleston, Geraldean Vernon, Salem; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Gould Funeral Home, Hopewell, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Birchland Cemetery, Pearisburg, at 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Waverly Volunteer Rescue Squad.

YOUNG, Donald E. 58, of Roanoke, formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla., chose the good day of Wednesday, May 24, 1995, to make his transition at home. He was a Navy veteran in the Submarine Service, retiring July 1, 1978. He worked for Westinghouse in Tampa, Fla., before accepting the position of inspector with Hartford Steamboiler Inspection and Insurance Company. He and his family moved to Roanoke in 1987. Don sends love and light to his wife, Carol, their son and daughter, his brother and sister and their families. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, Inc., 3825 Electric Road, S.W., Roanoke, Va 24018.
