Barring mechanical failures or bad luck, Jeff Gordon will win his second consecutive Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway today.

Gordon's No. 24 Chevrolet Monte Carlo has been the quickest car on this 1.5-mile track since the annual May racing activities started in Charlotte more than a week ago.
