TAKE NOTE

Restaurants in Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Radford will be smoke-free Wednesday, to mark World No-Tobacco Day and Clean Air Month. Seventeen restaurants will participate, including eight that are always ban smoking. The event is sponsored by the New River Valley Breathin' Easy Coalition, a community effort to control tobacco use.

Participating restaurants in Blacksburg include Bollo's, China Inn, Gillie's, Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea, Souvlaki and Subway.

In Christiansburg, restaurants are the Huckleberry, Morning Glory Care, Pizza Inn, Ryan's Steakhouse, Stone's Cafeteria, Taco Bell, Troy's Steaks, Subs and Pizza.

Radford restaurants include Canton Restaurant, Norwood Center Garden Room, KFC, and Subway.
