YOUNG WRESTLERS BRING HOME REGIONAL MEDALS

Bradley Argabright and Blake Frost of the Big Orange Wrestling Club won medals at the USA Wrestling Southeast Regional Kids Tournament May 13 in Hickory, N.C.

Argabright, a fourth-grader at Herman L. Horn Elementary School, finished sixth in the 75-pound weight class of novice (ages 11-12). There were 12 wrestlers in this bracket and, at one point, Argabright won a technical fall 11-0 in 35 seconds over a Florida wrestler.

Frost, a James Madison Middle School seventh-grader, finished third in the 70-pound weight class of the schoolboy division (ages 13-14). The bracket contained seven wrestlers. Frost, too, won technical falls over Indiana and South Carolina wrestlers.
