CHRISTIANSBURG - Levi Garrett and Kool Country WBNK (100.7 FM), WNRV (990 AM) will be at Hokie Honda/Mitsubishi in Blacksburg Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Interested individuals who test drive any new or used car during those hours will receive a pair of tickets to the New River Valley Speedway. Levi will also give away Atlanta Braves tickets, caps, CD's and more.

Carpool offered to Roanoke festival

CHRISTIANSBURG - Individuals interested in going to Festival in the Park in Roanoke on Saturday can carpool with members of Today's Singles. Today's Singles is a not-for-profit social organization that is not affiliated with any religious organization, counseling services or dating service.

Dance tryouts for Gold Rush

CHRISTIANSBURG - Tryouts for the dance troupe Gold Rush will be at Dancer's Dreams Studio in Christiansburg June 11. The Gold Rush dancers travel with the National Minor League Football team Roanoke Rush to every game and perform halftime shows. The group also makes public appearances for the team.

Tryouts start at 2 p.m. and will consist of an interview, cheers and a dance that will be taught. On-site registration fee is $12. Age eligibility is 18-35. The studio is at 760-A Roanoke Street.
