ALTIZER, Lillie Duncan, 76, of Riner, passed away Thursday, June 1, 1995, at her home. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Teel and a grandson, Scott Austin Altizer. Survivors include her husband, H. Linwood Altizer, Riner; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Rosie Altizer, Riner; grandson, Glen Altizer, Riner. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 1995, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. BAYSE, Dwight Matthew, 71, of Bohemia, N.Y., formerly of Salem, died Wednesday, May 31, 1995. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bayse, of the home; a brother, Justin Bayse, Salem; sisters, Roberta Carlson, Salem, Mrs. Lois Moore, Roanoke Co. CARROLL, Edgar Clinton, 72, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Catawba, died Sunday, May 28, 1995. He was born in Catawba on September 25, 1923, to Clinton C. and Nettie Audrey Carroll. He attended school in Catawba and graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in Salem. He moved to Texas and was employed by the State Department of Health until he retired. He is survived by his wife, Jean Carroll; sons, Mike, Matt and Terry Carroll, all of Texas; sister, Hazeltine Francisco, Salem; brothers, James C. Carroll, Roanoke, Ty (""Buddy"") Carroll, Minot, North Dakota; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services are being held at Forrest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, Houston, Texas, on Thursday, June 1, 1995.

EPPERLY, Winston Randolph, (``Buck""), 78, of Floyd, died at his home on Wednesday, May 31, 1995. Surviving are his wife, Mary Basham Epperly; one daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Jim Basham; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Karen Epperly; three grandchildren, Kesha Basham, Kelly Epperly, Travis Epperly, all of Floyd; several nieces and nephews. EUNICE, Florence Jarrett Throckmorton, 80, of Vinton, died Thursday, June 1, 1995. She was preceded in death by her son, James (Rock) Throckmorton and husband, George S. Eunice. MOTT, Joann Smith, 56, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, June 1, 1995, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur (Goose Berry) Smith. Surviving are her husband, E. C. Peters; daughter and son-in-law, Janet C. and Kenneth L. Wells of Roanoke; her mother, Ruth S. Smith of Roanoke; sister, Helen Herndon of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Mike Smith and Kenneth Smith, both of Roanoke; also surviving are nieces, nephews and family. OLIVER, Willie A., 84, of Roanoke, passed away June 1, 1995. He was faithful in his attendance at First Church of The Nazarene and was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Beatrice and Garry Oliver. Surviving are two sons, Mark Oliver, Kenneth Oliver and fiancee, Rose Black; grandson and wife, Eric and Kim Oliver; a daughter-in-law, Lorraine Oliver; brother and sister-in-law, James and Mae Oliver; two half brothers, Owen and Charles Oliver; two half sisters, Mattie Lawrence and Mary Ronk; two special friends, Marie Dull and George Dooley; also several neices and nephews; his favorite pet dog, ""Snowball"". PEREGOY, Martha Jane Sizemore, 89, of Christiansburg, died Thursday, June 1, 1995 in Radford Community Hospital. Surviving are her daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy Jane and Ronald Wayne Tweedy, Christiansburg, Mary Ellen Mellor of Colorado; her sons, Perry Harvey Peregoy, Christiansburg and Charles M. Peregoy Jr. of Colorado; a sister, Emline Boyd, Meadows of Dan; a brother, Simon Clinton Sizemore, Galax; several nieces and nephews. Spencer; three daughters and a son-in-law, Janet and Monte Hale, Blacksburg, Joyce S. Watts and Martha E. Spencer, both of Christiansburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Connie Spencer, Christiansburg; three sisters, Betty Wellman, Montcalm, W. Va., Sally Ratcliff and Annie Eller, both of Pilot; one brother, Oscar Spencer of Bluefield, W.Va.; grandchildren, Shawna, Dana, Drago, Damon, Jessica, Justin and Lee; friend, Barry Linkous. WILLARD, Henry N., 76, of Christiansburg, died suddenly, Tuesday, May 30, 1995, at his home of an apparent heart attack. YOUNG, Blondelle Foutz, 80, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, May 31, 1995. Mrs. Young had lived in Washington, D.C. since 1939, moving to the Roanoke area recently. She retired in 1971 from the federal government in the Office of the U. S. Postal Inspector. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Roanoke, and attended Wisconsin Avenue Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. For many years she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Mizpah Chapter and more recently serving as Marshal of Friendship Chapter #17 in Washington, D.C. Blondelle was a dedicated volunteer for Meals On Wheels, and was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence B. Young, her parents, Rufus D. and Pearl W. Foutz, a brother, Roger W. Foutz Sr., and a sister, Louise Foutz. Surviving are a nephew and his wife, Roger W. Jr. and Carole C. Foutz, Roanoke; greatnephews, Matthew and Gregory Foutz, Roanoke; a greatniece, Amy Foutz, Roanoke; a sister-in-law, Lois Foutz Swecker, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, Saturday, June 3, 1995, at noon with the Rev. John D. Cochran officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton.
