STORM WREAKS HAVOC ON FESTIVAL

A major storm blew through the Vintage Virginia wine festival Saturday night, knocking over tents, blowing debris around, and injuring several people, authorities said.

The storm also downed trees and left high water in some areas.

Fauquier County Sheriff's dispatcher C.T. Hibbs said several people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Nursing Supervisor Debbie Pacilio at Warrenton Community Hospital confirmed that two people from the festival had been treated in the emergency room Saturday night.
