ROANOKE MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE

A 38-year-old woman who is mentally disabled told police she was raped Saturday at 8:50 p.m. at the home of the suspect.

Police arrested Joel Anthony Craighead of 15th Street Southwest and charged him with the offense. He was in the Roanoke City Jail on $10,000 bond.
