The Smith Mountain Arts Council is accepting entry forms and registration until June 15 for the John Faber Memorial Smith Mountain Lake Photography Contest.
Photographs may be delivered to the display location in Bridgewater Plaza at the Hales Ford Bridge on June 26-27 from noon to 9 p.m.

The photographs will be on display from July 1-9.
Play auditions
Auditions for the Showtimers' production of ``The Shadow Box'' will be held June 24, 3-5 p.m. and June 25, 7-9 p.m., at Showtimers Studio, McVitty Road, Roanoke.
The cast calls for four men and five women.

Cosmic art
Deborah and Jack Bartello of Lightworks! in Stanardsville will conduct an evening of ``interdimensional'' art June 15, 7:30-10 p.m., at The Grandin Center, Roanoke.
During ``An Evening of Art and Cosmic Communication,'' Deborah Bartello will show slides of her art work in an effort to enable participants to deepen their experiences of soul energy and spiritual understanding.
``Energy Evening'' will be presented June 16, from 7:30 -9:30 p.m. Participants will learn how to become more sensitized to energy.
The cost for each of these workshops is $10.
A ``One Day Energy Workshop'' on June 17, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., will provide a basic foundation for understanding energy.
The cost is $75, $65 for those who attended an evening program. Pre-registration is required.
The Grandin Center is located at 1402 Grandin Road, second floor, on the corner of Grandin and Westover. Free parking is available on Grandin and in the municipal lot behind Revco (on Grandin). Use the Westover Avenue entrance.
