Blacksburg resident Susan L. Albert received a J.D. from the School of Law at Washington & Lee University. Albert was a member of the Judicial Internship Program, Phi Alpha Delta and the Women Law Students Organization. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Albert of Blacksburg.
Kimberly R. Colbert, formerly of Christiansburg, graduated summa cum laude from Randolph-Macon Woman's College with honors in business economics. Colbert received the college's Honors Scholarship and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She also received the Wall Street Journal Award in economics. Colbert graduated from Auburn High School and is the daughter of Leona J. Reed and the late Ord Reed of Christiansburg.
Tracee Radford of Christiansburg graduated magna cum laude from Emory & Henry College. She is the daughter of Gail and Raymond Radford.
Susan Light of Christiansburg received an associates degree in medical assisting from National Business College. She graduated summa cum laude. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Light of Roanoke.
Paula M. Capozzi-Davis graduated with honors from the University of Georgia, School of Law in Athens, Ga. Davis graduated from North Cross School in Roanoke and received her undergraduate degree from University of Virginia. She has passed the bar exam for Georgia and will work as an associate at Smith, Gambrell and Russel law firm in Atlanta. She is the daughter of Rocco and Barbara Bell Capozzi of Christiansburg.
Spencer A. Rygas of Pulaski graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law. Rygas received his bachelor's degree in accounting from College of William and Mary. He is the son of Alex and Dana Rygas and the grandson of Mark and the late Helen Via Bower, all of Pulaski. He will join Pulaski Furniture in the fall.
Radford resident Judith I. McMillan graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University. She received a bachelor's degree in fine arts. McMillan is a recipient of a Mason-Moore Fellowship and will attend Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in the fall. She is the daughter of Tom and Linda McMillan.
