VEG OUT FOR THE SUMMER

The Virginia Vegetarian Society on Friday will hold its final occasional potluck buffet until fall.

The public is invited to bring to the Unitarian Universalist Church (Brandon Avenue at Grandin Road, Roanoke) a favorite vegetarian dish to share and copies of its recipe if possible.

A voluntary $1 contribution per adult goes toward the cost of beverages, building use and postage.

Children and nonvegetarians are welcome. Festivities begin at 7 p.m. For additional information, call 380-2820.
