VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT CLOSING JUNE 23

Alan Dean, a co-owner of The Eden Way Place, said that the 5-year-old vegetarian restaurant on the Roanoke City Market will go out of business on June 23.

Dean said the decision not to renew the lease on the site at 307 Market St. S.E. was prompted by dwindling profits and difficulty in finding personnel qualified to cook and bake the restaurant's signature whole-grain breads and vegetarian foods.
